ISA Yachts has unveiled the Amarcord 86, the second design created for its new ISA Large Yacht Collection. Measuring 86 metres, the superyacht concept represents the Italian shipyard’s vision for a new generation of large, fully customised yachts, combining a proven technical foundation with a strong focus on individual owner requirements and onboard experiences.
The Amarcord 86 follows the introduction of the Amarcord 82, the first project presented as part of the collection in July 2026. Both designs have been developed by renowned Italian design studio Nuvolari Lenard, with the latest 86-metre concept taking the collection in a more experience-led direction.

A new approach to large custom yachts
The ISA Large Yacht Collection is designed for superyachts between 80 and 90 metres. Rather than functioning as a conventional series of production models, the platform provides a technical and engineering foundation that can be extensively adapted to suit each owner.
This approach combines the reassurance of an established shipbuilding platform with the creative freedom associated with a fully custom yacht. ISA Yachts describes the collection as a way of creating unique yachts around an owner's lifestyle, preferences and vision rather than asking owners to choose from a fixed set of layouts.
The Amarcord 86 demonstrates how that philosophy can translate into an exceptionally spacious yacht where each deck has its own character and purpose.

Designed around the onboard experience
The exterior profile of the Amarcord 86 is defined by elegant proportions, expansive glazing and a series of openings that visually connect the different levels of the yacht.
At the stern, a generous fixed swim platform provides direct access to the beach club. Two fold-down balconies extend the space towards the water, while an opening hatch allows the beach club to become even more connected with the sea.
The wellness facilities are integrated directly into this area, with a massage room and sea-view gym connected to the beach club by a glazed passage running through the engine room. The result is an unusual combination of technical architecture, wellness and direct contact with the water.

A panoramic pool at the heart of the yacht
One of the most distinctive features of the Amarcord 86 is the panoramic, glass-bottomed pool positioned on the aft section of the main deck.
Beyond providing an elevated swimming and relaxation area, the pool also introduces natural light into the beach club below. Surrounding lounge and social areas make the aft deck a versatile space for both quiet moments and entertaining.
This connection between different decks is central to the yacht's design philosophy. Instead of treating each level as an isolated environment, the architecture creates visual relationships between indoor and outdoor spaces.

An owner's deck dedicated to privacy
Moving upwards, the upper deck takes on a more private character. The entire level is dedicated to the owner, including a suite of more than 100 square metres.
Outside, the owner's area features a central pool framed by two lounge spaces. Further aft, a large open deck can be adapted for different uses, from a private outdoor terrace to an entertaining space or even a touch-and-go helicopter landing area.
This flexibility reflects one of the defining principles of the ISA Large Yacht Collection: creating spaces that can evolve around the way an owner actually uses the yacht.

Entertainment from day to night
The Amarcord 86 continues its progression through a series of dedicated social spaces.
The bridge deck is designed around evening entertainment, with additional dining space, an expansive outdoor lounge and a fire pit that creates a natural setting for sunset gatherings.
At the top of the yacht, the sundeck provides another destination for relaxation and entertaining. A bar, teppanyaki grill and forward-facing pool with sunpads transform the highest deck into an open-air social hub.
Together, these spaces give the yacht a strong sense of progression, moving from the sea-focused beach club and wellness areas through private owner spaces and finally towards expansive entertainment areas above.

Accommodation for extended time at sea
The Amarcord 86 has been conceived for extended stays on board, with accommodation arranged across five guest cabins.
The layout includes a VIP suite on the main deck and a twin cabin on the lower deck, while the crew accommodation has been designed to support up to 21 crew members across 11 cabins, with an additional captain's cabin on the bridge deck.
The emphasis is therefore not simply on impressive dimensions, but on creating a yacht capable of supporting a complete lifestyle at sea, whether the focus is privacy, wellness, entertaining or long-distance cruising.
