Captain David has been working in yachting for more than 12 years, including 7 years spent aboard commercially operated vessels as Officer and over 5 years serving as Chief Officer for prestigious super yachts, most notably the 54m M/Y HURRICANE RUN from Feadship. His enthusiasm for his profession is unmatched, and he takes great pride not only in his own work but also in guiding others to reach their full potential. Born and raised in Durban, he was immersed in a maritime environment, making a life on the water feel like second nature to him. After completing his schooling, he traveled the world and later settled in London, where he embarked on a 10-year career in rugby. He also managed an upscale health club in Mayfair, where he engaged with and trained VIP members, some of whom were yacht owners.

These connections eventually led him into the yachting industry. During his free time, Captain David is still actively engaged in rugby training, lifting in the gym, running and CrossFit. He enjoys snowboarding during the winter and surfing in the summer. His personality and style are adaptable to virtually any request, and he approaches all challenges with a professional and easy-going manner.
