Oceanco and Vripack unveil 101m superyacht design at the Dubai International Boat Show.
Dutch builder Oceanco has unveiled Lily, a new 101-metre superyacht concept from its Beyond Custom series, at the 2025 Dubai International Boat Show.
Developed in collaboration with Vripack, Lily features a striking split-level asymmetric bow with walkaround decks to starboard and a helicopter landing pad to port. Beneath, there’s ample storage for four tenders and a helicopter, with naval architecture by Lateral Naval Architects. Designed for "visionaries and trailblazers," the 5,600GT yacht boasts expansive windows, interior glass, and dramatic sightlines for a bold visual impact.

Although radical in its design, the studios have noted the yacht is ready to be built and comes off the back of a similar concept Vripack presented to a client. Vripack designer Marnix J. Hoekstra said: "I know for a fact people are interested in things like this." He envisages the client being someone relatively young and progressive who wants to "leave a mark".
Defined by its overlapping decks and sculptural design—made possible by advanced monocoque construction—the yacht embraces an open-plan layout to enhance space and flow. Inspired by lilypads, the design reflects nature’s rhythms, “emerging from the water by day and closing by night,” as Vripack describes.
Hoekstra likened the yacht’s aft view to a “protective cocoon” formed by curving, wraparound exteriors.

The general arrangement has been configured to provide intimate spaces to accommodate multiple groups of families and friends. Up on the top deck is a dedicated owner’s apartment and terrace – encompassing 450 square metres of interior space and 315 square metres of exterior deck space – boasting views traditionally reserved for the bridge.
Acting as a private sanctuary, the owner's apartment can be accessed via an elevator from the leisure deck and stepping stones across a lily pond, or a staircase from the upper deck. Floor-to-ceiling curved windows are covered in one-way film for privacy and an oval-shaped opening above the entrance channels fresh air into the yacht.

The split-level design enhances natural airflow, reducing reliance on the HVAC system, while also separating the living areas above from the sleeping quarters below. The lower deck features six guest cabins—three on each side at different levels—along with an aft lounge and balcony, making it ideal for families or groups.
The upper deck adds three more guest cabins, an open-plan cinema, and a suspended playroom, accessible via a bridge, for a unique onboard experience.
Navigation is also unconventional with a virtual bridge located on the upper deck. The space is equipped with the latest navigational technology to ensure safe and compliant navigation, including cameras and screens that would replace forward-facing windows. Port and starboard windows and balconies provide the bridge team with a physical connection to the outdoor environment.
The large leisure deck serves as the heart of onboard activity, featuring an outdoor pool on the aft deck, as well as a gym, wellness area, watersports gallery, bar and dining space.
