MaiorA: Italian Artistry at Sea
Founded in the early 1970s and rooted in the historic yacht-building hub of Viareggio and Massa, Maiora, a brand of Next Yacht Group, has long stood as a beacon of Italian craft excellence. From the early adoption of fiberglass construction to modern bespoke yacht design, the shipyard blends generational seafaring knowledge with contemporary innovation. Maiora’s ethos is built around Italian artistry: every seam, curve, and hidden detail is shaped with human passion and reverence, not repetition. Their yachts are conceived as unique extensions of the owner's identity: crafted for high performance, refined comfort, and soulful connection to the sea.

Spotlight on Maiora 42 Exuma
Designed in collaboration with Giorgio Maria Cassetta (exterior) and Elie Saab Maison (interior), the Maiora 42 Exuma reimagines yacht ownership as an embodied, deeply human experience.
The 42 Exuma breaks away from traditional yacht architecture. Guest suites have moved to the main deck, visible, light-filled, and dignified. The technical clutter-free upper deck becomes a panoramic lounge crowned by a transparent-bottom pool and a rotating sun deck.
Spaces are crafted to serve the owner, not the other way around, marking a shift from rigid functional layering to welcoming architecture.

Exterior: A Flowing Dialogue with the Sea
Giorgio Maria Cassetta’s design language emphasizes long horizontal lines and expansive glazing that blend interior and ocean. The yacht’s hull flows, giving the impression of motion even at rest. Walk‑around decks and continuous glass surfaces foster a direct and fluid connection with the sea .

Interior: Couture Elegance by Elie Saab
Elie Saab Maison brings haute couture sensibility to the heart of the yacht. Materials like Mystic Ocean marble, Fumo di Londra marble, bronzed mirrors, rich teak, and luxurious fabrics create refined, durable interiors. The result: elegance you can live in, designed for airiness and ease of use.

Deck-by-Deck Layout
Main Deck: Full-beam owner’s suite with private lounge and dual walk-in wardrobes, plus four VIP cabins, each offering floor-to-ceiling glazing and dedicated wardrobe space. Optional glass elevator connects decks.
Upper Deck: Transformed into a lounge where the captain’s cabin once was. Features folding terraces, a transparent pool aft, and a circular sunbed at the bow that rotates with the sun.
Sun Deck: Approximately 80 m² of open-air space: ideal for custom lounging, entertainment, and horizon views.
Lower Deck: Dedicated crew quarters for up to nine, with mess, laundry, storage, plus optional gym/media room or sixth crew cabin accessible via dumbwaiter.
