Overmarine Group has introduced the 51.1-metre Mangusta Oceano 52, with the first unit under construction in Pisa.
Overmarine Group has unveiled the new 51.1-metre Mangusta Oceano 52 model, with the first unit already under construction at the Overmarine Group’s shipyard in Pisa. This model is being developed jointly by Overmarine's Engineering Department and designer Alberto Mancini, who is responsible for both the yacht's exterior and interior designs.

Commenting on the design, Alberto Mancini stated: "The Mangusta Oceano 52 stands out for the bold design choices it embraces, with neat, streamlined lines defining the shapes and proportions of a dazzling mega yacht that commands a powerful and imposing presence in the water."
This steel and aluminium displacement yacht falls under the 500 GT category and features exceptional modularity. During the press conference, Mangusta highlighted that their extensive research into glazed surfaces and strategic technical modifications have eliminated barriers across all decks.
This ensures a lifestyle experience typically found on larger 60-metre yachts. The design prioritises seamless visual integration between indoor and outdoor spaces, with the main deck being a prime example. The area is predominantly glazed, especially towards the aft, where storage trunks have been relocated externally to maximise openness.

Several notable features include the master stateroom situated on the upper deck. This forward-facing suite offers a private retreat with a 180-degree panoramic view of the horizon. Floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the space in natural light, capturing the tranquil beauty of the landscape. Adjacent to the suite, the private outer deck features the expansive 'Mangusta Signature' infinity pool. A staircase from this deck provides access to the highly adaptable patio lounge on the main deck, which can be transformed from a gym to a lounge area with ease.
Regarding accommodation, the Mangusta Oceano 52 features two guest/VIP staterooms positioned on the main deck, a location typically reserved for the master stateroom. This strategic placement affords these staterooms enhanced natural light and spectacular views, greatly enriching the indoor experience. Additionally, four more guest staterooms are situated on the lower deck, providing ample space and privacy for guests.

The project team's in-depth design research has resulted in a vessel whose modularity means the owner can enjoy the space they dream of for themselves and their ‘inner circle’, experiencing cruising at best and exploring new destinations. This means being able to adapt and customise even more.
Every Mangusta Oceano 52 can therefore be truly considered as a one-off yacht relying on world-class technical characteristics, in line with Overmarine's long-standing tradition in the construction of yachts which successfully combine tradition, innovation, and quality.
Performance-wise, the Mangusta Oceano 52 is powered by twin MTU engines that propel her to a maximum speed of approximately 16 knots at half load, over the course of a 4,500 nautical mile range.
