The NEOM Board of Directors has officially unveiled Sindalah, NEOM’s inaugural luxury island destination.
First announced in December 2022 by His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Chairman of the NEOM Board of Directors, the launch of Sindalah marks a significant milestone in the continued development of NEOM.
The transformation of Sindalah Island marks the completion of a two-year project involving a peak workforce of 30,000 and multiple contractors. It advances Saudi Vision 2030 and showcases NEOM's innovative capabilities. To celebrate, Sindalah welcomed its first guests.
Located in the Red Sea, five kilometers from NEOM, Sindalah spans 840,000 square meters and serves as NEOM's gateway to the Red Sea, accessible to yachts from Europe, Saudi Arabia, and the GCC.
Designed by yacht architecture firm Luca Dini, Sindalah features luxury restaurants, hotels, and facilities. By 2028, it aims to host 2,400 daily visitors and create 3,500 jobs, boosting Saudi Arabia's tourism sector. Home to diverse marine life, including over 300 coral types, Sindalah emphasizes NEOM's commitment to sustainability.
With its year-round climate, Sindalah's 86-berth marina and the Stefano Ricci-designed Yacht Club offer premier facilities for yachts and their crews.
